Curriculum 
The Basava Residential Girls School prepares the girls for the Secondary School Leaving Certificate (SSLC) Examination conducted by the Karnataka Secondary Education Board & Pre-University (PU) Examination by the Pre-University Board. The  School provides a resident faculty hailing from all corners of the country to train students in 20 subjects ranging from subjects such as Computer Science to Humanities for Grades KG to PU. 
 Academic Aim
 The school is intended for girls only. It is run along the lines of the Kittur Sainik school which is exclusively for girls. The school intends to prepare girls to build up national womanhood and become good citizens, good house-wives, good mothers and incorporate in themselves a broad outlook towards learning and knowledge and open attitude. The school builds foundations for girl children to enter into a world of tomorrow as disciplined, tolerant, responsible, cooperative and useful members of society. The aim of The Basava Residential Girls School is to cultivate courage in children to face hurdles in times of need, stress and national emergency. Last, but not the least, the school educates children how to cherish social, moral and spiritual aspirations in the development of their personalities.
