Basava Residential Girls School has a Memorandum of Understanding with Dr. Prema. R, Professor and HOD, Department of Pediatrics, Rajarajeswari Medical College & Hospital, Kengeri, Bangalore. Dr. Prema visits BRGS twice a week on Mondays and Thursdays on OPD basis. The school presents Dr. Prema with a patient list and their respective ailments in advance and they are examined and treated at the school in the Clinic. In case of any medical emergency, Dr. Prema will always be available for consultation and treatment. In case of a dire emergency, the student requiring medical attention will be transported to the Rajarajeswari Medical College & Hospital, Kengeri, Bangalore, with whom we have a special agreement. The hospital is located only 1.5 Kilometres away from the BRGS campus. Students are transported by the school car as needed. Should students require any personal/psychological counseling, Dr. Prema will arrange for assistance on a case to case basis.
